Denver's Premier Bachata Dance Studio - Just 10 Minutes from Aurora
Living in Aurora and looking for an exciting way to spend your evenings? Dynamic Bachata is a dedicated bachata dance studio in Wheat Ridge, serving the whole Denver metro, and we're about a 25-30 minute drive from most Aurora neighborhoods via I-70 West. Whether you're coming from Southlands, Town Center at Aurora, or the Fitzsimons area, the drive west across town ends on the dance floor.
Aurora is one of Colorado's most diverse cities, and bachata fits right in. This Dominican partner dance is rhythmic, expressive, and welcoming to people from every background. Our studio attracts students from across the metro area - and a growing number of Aurora residents who've discovered that learning bachata is the best decision they've made all year.
No matter where you are in Aurora, getting to Dynamic Bachata is a straight shot west across the metro. We're located at 6708 W 44th Ave in Wheat Ridge, just off I-70 — the main highway that connects Aurora to the northwest side.
From Southlands / South Aurora: Take I-225 North to I-70 West, then exit at Wadsworth or Harlan. Total drive time is about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
From Town Center at Aurora: Hop on I-225 to I-70 West and head across town to the Wheat Ridge exits. You'll reach the studio in about 25 minutes.
From Fitzsimons / Anschutz: Jump on I-70 West — it runs right past Fitzsimons — and stay on it to the Wadsworth or Harlan exit. Plan for about 25 minutes.
Free parking: When you arrive, you'll find free parking right at our studio. No hunting for spots, no paying for garages. Park, walk in, and start dancing.
We know Aurora residents have busy lives - commutes, families, and everything in between. That's why we offer evening classes Monday through Saturday, so you can find a time that works no matter what your schedule looks like.
Most of our Aurora students come to weeknight classes after work. The drive is quick, classes run about 90 minutes, and you're home before it gets too late. Some students make it a weekly date night, while others come solo and use it as their personal decompression time.
We also offer weekend classes for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. Saturday classes are especially popular with Aurora families who want to learn together.
Heading home from work in downtown Denver? Stop by the studio on your way back to Aurora instead of fighting rush hour traffic. Take a class, let traffic clear out, and drive home relaxed. Many of our Aurora students swear by this routine.

Claim Your Free Week →Our studio at 6708 W 44th Ave in Wheat Ridge is about 25-30 minutes from most Aurora neighborhoods. From Fitzsimons or Town Center, I-70 West is a straight shot of roughly 25 minutes. From Southlands or south Aurora, take I-225 North to I-70 West and plan for about 30 minutes. Free parking when you arrive.
Not at all. About 70% of our students come alone. We rotate partners during every class, so you'll dance with multiple people each session. Coming solo actually helps you learn faster because you adapt to different partners. Many of our Aurora students started alone and now carpool together.
Perfect - that's exactly who our beginner classes are designed for. Most of our students had zero dance experience when they started. Bachata is one of the most beginner-friendly partner dances because the basic step is simple and the rhythm is intuitive. Our instructors Diego and Yuyu break everything down into small, manageable pieces. If you can walk, you can learn bachata.
Comfortable clothes you can move in - jeans or leggings and a t-shirt work great. For shoes, bring something with a smooth sole that won't stick to the floor. Sneakers are fine for beginners. Many Aurora students come straight from work and just change their shoes. We have a changing area if you want to swap outfits.
Over 500 students have started their bachata journey with us since 2023. Most of them said the same thing after their first class: "I wish I'd done this sooner."
Don't wait. Your first week is free. The only way to know if bachata is for you is to try it.
