The Trendy Neighborhood Deserves a Trendy Dance - Just 12 Minutes from 32nd Ave
Living in the Highlands or LoHi means you appreciate the finer things: craft cocktails on 32nd Ave, weekend brunch at your favorite spot, sunset walks along the Platte River Trail. You're the kind of person who seeks out unique experiences and values community. Bachata fits perfectly into that lifestyle.
The Highlands social scene is legendary - but there's only so many times you can do the bar-to-restaurant loop before it starts feeling repetitive. Bachata offers something completely different: a physical, creative, deeply social activity that gives you a real skill and a whole new circle of friends. Many of our Highlands students tell us bachata has become the highlight of their week, replacing yet another dinner out with something genuinely exciting.
And the creative energy of the Highlands? It translates beautifully to the dance floor. Bachata is an expressive dance that rewards musicality, creativity, and personal style - exactly the qualities that draw people to neighborhoods like Highlands and LoHi in the first place. Whether you're an artist, a tech professional, or an entrepreneur running your own shop on Tennyson Street, you'll find bachata speaks to that creative side of you.
From 32nd Ave & Lowell: Head east on 32nd Ave, hop on I-25 South or take Speer Blvd. You'll be at our studio in about 12-15 minutes. Easy drive, no highway stress.
From LoHi (Lower Highlands): Take Speer Blvd east or jump on I-25 from the 23rd Ave on-ramp. Most LoHi residents reach us in 10-12 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Tennyson Street: Head south to 38th Ave, then east to I-25. About 15 minutes door-to-door. Many of our Tennyson-area students carpool together.
Free parking: Unlike trying to find a spot on 32nd Ave on a Friday night, we have free parking at our studio. No meters, no garage fees, no circling the block.
Our evening classes are designed for people with busy lives. Whether you're wrapping up at the office, finishing a late lunch on 32nd, or coming from a workout at your Highlands gym, our class times work. Most Highlands students settle into a routine: dinner at a neighborhood favorite, then bachata class, then home feeling energized instead of sluggish.
Check our full class schedule for current times and availability. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels so you'll always have the right class for your skill level.

Picture this: it's a Thursday evening. You finish work, meet a friend at one of the Highlands' incredible restaurants - maybe Williams & Graham for cocktails or Linger for small plates. Then instead of calling it a night, you head to bachata class. You spend the next 90 minutes laughing, moving, learning something new, and connecting with people who share your energy. You drive home feeling alive instead of reaching for the remote.
That's the Highlands bachata lifestyle. It's not just a class - it's the best part of your week. Our Highlands students consistently tell us that bachata has transformed their social lives. They've made real friends, gained confidence, and discovered a passion they never knew they had. Some have even started traveling to bachata festivals around the country, turning a local hobby into a global adventure.
The Highlands is all about living fully - great food, great people, great experiences. Bachata is the experience you didn't know you were missing. And with your first week completely free, there's literally no reason not to try it.
Looking for something different for date night? Dinner in the Highlands followed by a bachata class is the most creative date in Denver. You'll learn to dance together, laugh at your mistakes together, and leave with a shared experience that beats any movie. Couples who dance together stay together - and you'll have a new skill to show off at every wedding and party from now on.
Your first week is free. No credit card required. Just show up and dance.
Claim Your Free Week →We believe dance should be accessible, which is why your first week is always free. Come to as many classes as you want during your trial week - zero commitment, zero credit card required upfront.
Private lessons are also available for accelerated learning, wedding preparation, or focused one-on-one instruction.
Not at all. About 70% of our students come alone. We rotate partners during class, so you'll dance with multiple people each session. It actually helps you learn faster, and it's how most of our students have made friends in the community.
More than okay - it's normal. Most of our students started with zero dance experience. Bachata is one of the most beginner-friendly dances out there. We break everything into small, learnable steps. If you can walk, you can learn bachata.
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Jeans, leggings, t-shirts - whatever feels good. For shoes, sneakers work perfectly for beginners. Many Highlands students come straight from dinner or drinks in whatever they're already wearing and just change their shoes.
They're both Latin partner dances, but bachata is generally easier to pick up. The basic step is simpler and more intuitive, the footwork is smaller, and the connection between partners is closer and more intimate. Many people learn bachata first, then add salsa later.
Over 500 students have started their bachata journey with us since 2023. Most of them said the same thing after their first class: "I wish I'd done this sooner."
Don't wait. Your first week is free. The only way to know if bachata is for you is to try it.
