Your First Bachata Class
Everything you need to know to start your dance journey with confidence
What to Wear
Clothing
- • Comfortable clothes you can move in (jeans are fine!)
- • Avoid super baggy clothes that hide your movement
- • Layers are smart - you might warm up during class
- • No special dance attire needed for beginners
Shoes
- • Leather-soled shoes or dance sneakers are ideal
- • Avoid rubber soles (they stick to the floor)
- • Ladies: Low heels or flats work great to start
- • We have shoe covers available if you only have sneakers
- • Dance shoes available for purchase at the studio
What to Bring
- 💧Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! We have a water fountain if you forget.
- 😊Positive Attitude: Everyone is here to learn and have fun!
- 👕Extra Shirt (Optional): Some people like to change after class.
- 📝Questions: Write them down and ask your instructor!
Class Etiquette
